DN7 delivers full basement conversion for Amey at Olive Grove Depot
DN7 Building Services were appointed by Amey as the main delivery partner to undertake a full conversion of the basement area at the Olive Grove Depot, a key facility owned by Sheffield City Council and managed by Amey.
The project required the transformation of a dated and underused basement space into a modern, functional working environment complete with upgraded welfare and office facilities, designed to meet the needs of a busy operational depot and deliver long-term value for the client.
Scope of Works
The comprehensive 16-week project included:

Full strip-out of the existing basement area

Installation of a new metal deck floor with a power-floated concrete finish

Formation of new shower and changing facilities to improve staff welfare

Upgrading existing toilet areas with new fixtures and finishes

Creation of new office and kitchen spaces, providing a more efficient and comfortable working environment

Installation of new windows and doors throughout to increase natural light and ventilation

New industrial electrical installation and full HVAC upgrade

Aluminium wall panelling for a durable, hygienic finish

Complete roof refurbishment, including a new flat roof installation
